HPC brand launches its ''All Honduran Tobacco Series'' to present to cigar lovers worldwide, the authentic flavors of tobaccos grown in Honduras, through the shape of elegant cigars rolled by genuine artists in Danlí’s factories, respecting local culture and traditions of cigar making. Such craftsmanship can only be found in the land that brought the cigar smoking rituals to humanity thousands of years ago, in the Mayan settlements of Western Honduras.

Such tobaccos also could only come from the very same Honduran land, from Copan to Jamastran and from Talanga to Azacualpa, these valleys produces some of the most flavorful and aromatic tobaccos ever found on earth. But for HPC this is not enough, we've selected the best materials, giving priority to correctly fermented and aged tobaccos that deserves being called ''premium''.

HPC’s ''All Honduran Tobacco Series'' are meant to be the core line of the brand. Corojo White Label

Candela Mayan Legacy

Explore a remarkable merging of aged premium Honduran tobaccos with the ''Candela Mayan Legacy'' by HPC, a tribute to the renowned Honduran millenary cigar-making tradition and to the lush green sceneries of the Central American jungles, original cradle of the Mayan civilization.

The Candela Mayan Legacy is the first blend created for the launch of the ''All Honduran Tobacco Series’' and condense it all in the shape of an elegant green stick, delivering the authentic flavors of this land, sharing its rich and smooth aromas with all the cigar aficionados who likes to know more about the history and theme behind the smokes they enjoys.

It starts with a very smooth, easy and gently draw that invites you to enjoy. Right away you find a very subtle hint of sweetness in this medium bodied cigar.

The Mayan Legacy uses a Candela leaf that was flash-cured over a charcoal fire and then placed over an aged premium Honduran Habano binder and Criollo and Connecticut filler, it combines the rich, mellow earthiness of the unique subtleties of a Candela leaf, rich, earthy, slightly peppery and pleasantly sweet

Criollo 1765

As a core Line of HPC’s ''All Honduran Tobacco Series’' the HPC Criollo 1765 blend has been created using not only Honduran tobaccos, but exclusively aged Criollo tobaccos grown in different regions of the country for its wrapper, binder and filler. The name is also a reminder of the cigar making history in Honduras when as Spanish Colony in 1765, the “Royal Tobacco Factory” of Santa Rosa de los Llanos, now Santa Rosa de Copán, was founded.

Nothing better than a blend of the original tobacco strain to pay tribute to this glorious past. Criollo, or “native seed,” is thought to have been used by the natives for their cigars, during the time that Christopher Columbus arrived in the Americas and for the centuries to come after this event.

The Criollo 1765 is a tasty medium to full bodied cigar, it carries complexity in the form of chestnuts, cedar, cashews, and black pepper with an underlying earthiness. The finish is smooth. A very well-constructed cigar, smoking consistently and burning evenly, delivering earthy, nutty taste with a fair amount of spice.
